Hey! I’m Angela - the author and creator behind Betty Bear Books.
I am a Canadian Author, Entrepreneur and founder of Betty Bear Books - a brand that houses my creative stories and work inspired by my mom, Betty. The fiercest of all mama-bears, I wanted to honour her memory as she has been the inspiration for all of my creative endeavours. Without her love and spirit, I don’t know if I ever would have tried my hand at writing. Thanks, Mom.
My book ideas have stemmed from nights reminiscing about childhood memories and all of the new experiences I’ve been able to share alongside my family. One night, my son asked me to tell him a story from my mind and not from a book. And thus, “I pooped in my suit" was born.
“I pooped in my suit” is my first children’s book, and I followed it up with a Christmas book, “The Happiest Place to Be: A Christmas Tail” based on our rescue pup, Cleo. In addition to children’s books, I am the proud creator of, “The Confident Cub,” a guided journal and activity book for kids, among other journals and activity books.
I’m a seasoned entrepreneur and marketing specialist by trade and I love supporting other creatives in their marketing and creative endeavours. If you’re looking for new books to add to your shelf or interested in getting started in the world of self-publishing, you’re in the right place!
